What is Horse Archery?
Horse archery is a sport performed while riding a galloping horse. Riders must maintain balance and focus while drawing and releasing arrows in motion. This sport originates from ancient traditions and now combines technique, physical fitness, and mental discipline, offering both a challenge and a unique sense of freedom.
The Hong Kong Mounted Archery Association was established in 2026, focusing on promoting the sport of mounted archery. We hope to continue this traditional skill, which combines horsemanship and archery, in Hong Kong, allowing more people to experience it safely and authentically.
