Membership Terms and Conditions
Membership Fee: HK$8,680 / year
Membership Benefits:
Includes 10 complimentary archery/horse riding/horseback archery combination lessons, 15% discount on horseback archery courses, and free use of exclusive horseback archery facilities.
1. Membership Eligibility and Identity Rules
1. This membership is personal and exclusive to the registered member; it may not be transferred, rented, or lent to any other person for entry or use of facilities.
2. Upon entering the venue, members must present a valid membership credential for identity verification upon staff request; if the person is not the registered member, the association reserves the right to deny entry.
3. Membership quotas cannot be transferred to others. Friends or accompanying guests of members may not enter the venue using this membership; guests must make separate reservations and payments according to venue guest rules.
4. The membership is valid for 12 months from the date of payment confirmation. Renewal must be completed upon expiration to continue enjoying membership benefits; all membership rights will automatically terminate upon expiration.
5. Once membership fees are paid, no refunds, suspensions, or extensions of membership will be granted, except with the written consent of the association.
II. Venue Usage Rules
1. Members enjoy the right to use the association's exclusive horseback archery venue for free; however, venue availability is not guaranteed at all times, and all venue usage is by appointment only.
2. During peak hours, public holidays, group bookings, or course operations, the venue may be fully booked. When the venue is fully booked, members will not be able to enter or use the facility.
3. Members must inquire about venue availability and make a reservation through the association's designated booking channels. Only after successfully securing a time slot can the venue be used.
If you arrive without a reservation, the association cannot guarantee the availability of the venue.
4. If a member is unable to attend after making a reservation, they must cancel the booking in advance according to the rules. For no-shows without prior notice, the association reserves the right to suspend their venue booking privileges.
5. Free venue usage rights only apply to general opening hours; during special events such as large competitions, activities, or professional filming bookings, the venue will be closed to general members. The association will endeavor to provide advance notice.
6. Free venue usage rights cover the venue space only and do not include rental fees for instructors, horses, bows, or other equipment. Related services are subject to additional charges.
III. Member Code of Conduct
1. Members and their guests must comply with all venue safety rules and staff instructions upon entering the premises, including safety protocols for horse riding, archery, and horse archery.
2. Dangerous actions, unauthorized use of bows, horses, and venue equipment are strictly prohibited. All horse archery and archery activities must only be conducted in designated safe areas.
3. Members must take care of venue facilities, horses, and equipment. Members are fully liable for any repair or compensation costs resulting from damage caused by themselves or their guests.
4. Alcohol consumption, smoking outside designated areas, and disruptive behavior are prohibited within the venue. Staff have the right to immediately intervene in any inappropriate behavior.
5. Members are responsible for the conduct of their accompanying guests. Members who booked the session are liable for all consequences arising from their guests' actions within the venue.
IV. Course and Discount Privileges
1. The 10-session package included with the membership (Archery/Horse Riding/Horseback Archery classes) is valid for the duration of the membership year. Unused sessions upon expiration will be forfeited and are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be extended.
2. The 15% off course discount is for the member's personal use only, cannot be combined with other offers, and is non-transferable.
V. Membership Suspension and Termination Terms
1. If a member violates these terms, seriously breaches safety regulations, repeatedly fails to follow staff instructions, or lends their membership to others, the Association reserves the right to issue a written warning, suspend venue usage rights,
or even terminate the membership immediately. Paid membership fees will not be refunded.
2. If the Association is temporarily closed due to equipment maintenance, government directives, severe weather, etc., no compensation or extension of membership validity will be provided.
3. The Association reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Updates will be announced through member channels.
VI. Other Terms
1. Horseback riding, equestrian activities, and archery are sports with potential risks. Members acknowledge these risks and agree that members and their guests assume full responsibility for their personal safety. It is recommended that you purchase your own personal accident insurance.
2. For membership applications by minors, a consent form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
3. The venue is not responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings of members and guests. Please keep your valuables safe.
4. Members agree that the club may take photos and videos of activities at the venue for promotional purposes. If a member does not wish to be photographed, they must proactively inform the staff.
